Dear Friends,
On 16 July 2025, we organized a Nutritional Counselling Session for the patients of our OPC. The session primarily focused on Uric Acid and Vitamin B12 deficiency, emphasizing dietary sources, supplementation, and ways to address absorption issues.
Our nutritionist Mrs. Sonali Mazumder highlighted the importance of including Vitamin B12-rich foods in our daily diet. She explained that animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy are excellent sources of Vitamin B12. Although plant-based options are limited, fortified foods like nutritional yeast and breakfast cereals can help meet the body’s needs. She also mentioned that bananas and oranges are good sources of essential vitamins.
At the end of the event, each participant received a gift and a food packet as a token of appreciation.
We are now sharing a few pictures from the programme. A detailed report will be provided later by the OPC Monitor.
Please acknowledge receipt.
With best wishes,
Sekhar Chattopadhyay
