Inter School Extempore Competition Report

Dear Friends,

On 26.11.2025, we organized an Inter School Extempore Competition under our HCPSC project. An extempore speech is a speech delivered “out of the moment” without prior preparation. The speaker receives the topic on the spot and must frame, organize, and present their thoughts immediately. This format helps assess presence of mind, communication skills, clarity, and confidence.

The judges for the event were:
• Rtn Sreeparna Dutta, Professor
• Dr. Soumyajit Das, Entomologist

A total of 11 participants from various schools took part in this competition.

Results:
• Winner – Sailendra Sircar Vidyalaya for Boys
• 1st Runner-Up – Keshab Academy
• 2nd Runner-Up – Cossipore Gun and Shell Factory High School

It was an engaging and enjoyable programme for everyone present. We are sharing the pictures of this event along with this update. A detailed report will be provided later by the HCPSC Monitor.
